Call for volunteers to participate at the European Night of Museums at UNESCO
For the 9th consecutive year, UNESCO will open its doors on the occasion of the European Night of Museums in order to increase visibility of the Organization and its works of art collection, and allow the public to experience a unique multicultural evening.
The public will also have the opportunity to discover the temporary exhibition presented by Tunisia, the Organization’s partner for the 2017 edition of the European Night of Museums. This exhibition will focus on the Tunisian archeological site of Dougga, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List 20 years ago.
As in previous years, we call upon the voluntary participation of UNESCO colleagues, as well as members of permanent delegations, interns and retirees wishing to participate voluntarily in the event in order to share the cultural richness of the Organization, its Collection and the temporary exhibition with the visitors. The dominant language for the public is French, however other languages are also a plus to better attend and inform all visitors. As always, the success of the event largely depends on participation from volunteers!
We kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in participating, so that we may organize the next steps for preparation of the event.
We thank you in advance for your support and commitment to this important cultural event.
