Teachers who travelled to Indonesia last month to lear from Indonesian schools' experience in implementing the Green School Initiative were invited to share information gathered durin their mission with the rest of the participants.

The Green School and Biodiversity Initiative in Oman will be launched through pilot projects in 3 schools across the country. Three teachers from each school presented their proposal for implementation during the meeting.

Officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Municipality as well as local NGOs representatives working on sustainability participate in the event and were invited to provide feedbacks, expertise and in-kind materials to the three schools.

The three selected schools were visited during the workshop to have first-hand observation on the readiness and commitment of the school to engage in and to realize the Green School Initiative.
