Namibia contributes $50,000 to UNESCO’s Emergency Fund
The Director-General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova has expressed her thanks to the Government of the Republic of Namibia for its contribution of $50,000 to UNESCO’s Multi-Donor Emergency Fund launched by the Director-General in November 2011.
"I would like to express my gratitude for this contribution to UNESCO’s Multi-donor Emergency Fund. It is a sign of Namibia’s support and commitment to the Organization,” said the Director-General. “These valuable gestures are of great help to the Organization’s activities, which focus as a priority on Africa.”
