We are pleased to invite you to the Launch Event of the joint UNESCO-UNCCT Project on “Prevention of Violent Extremism through Youth Empowerment in Jordan, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia”, co-funded by the Government of Canada, to be held on 24 April 2018 from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This groundbreaking project will empower young women and men to engage in decision-making processes related to PVE (prevention of violent extremism).

The launch event, just like the project, is putting youth at its centre. Young people from Jordan, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia will provide input, engage in dialogue with UNESCO’s Director-General, Audrey Azoulay, and UNOCT’s Under-Secretary-General, Vladimir Voronkov, as well as outline the overarching objectives of the project.

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English and French.
