Progress in the development of the Atlas of Droughts for Central America

The International Hydrological Program is leading the development of a Regional Droughts Atlas that allows identifying the frequency, duration and intensity of summer drought at an annual level and the most vulnerable areas.

This project, which is in its final phase, will have a meeting that will bring together representatives of the hydrometeorological agencies of Central America in order to support countries with the management of climate risks.
