Building Capacities to Protect HIV-Affected and Infected Learners from Discrimination and Provide them with Care and Support

On January 7-31, 2013, a total of 24 specialists in the sphere of social work, psychology, education and medicine from the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Mongolia learned how to provide care and support to HIV-affected and infected children and adolescents and protect them from discrimination in education settings at a training workshop organized by Mount Carmel International Training Centre (MCTC) in Haifa, Israel, in cooperation with UNESCO and UNAIDS.
