Join the global day of action on 25 September!

For the goals to be reached, everyone needs to do their part: governments, institutions, organizations and civil society!

September 25th marks the 3rd anniversary of the historic adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the achievement of a large number of the SDGs are dependent upon the access to safe and sufficient water.

UNESCO WWAP is engaged in reaching the SDGs, in particular the SDG6 on clean water and sanitation. In effect, the progress of a country towards the SDGs can partly be measured by assessing that country's water situation; as such, the World Water Development Report, and the SDG 6 Synthesis Report 2018, both UN-Water Reports coordinated by UNESCO WWAP, are part of an ongoing worldwide assessment project to measure progress towards achieving the goals of sustainable development set out by the United Nations.

And you, what do you do to reach the SDGs?
