Book: Rock Art in West Papua

West Papua is one of the richest regions of rock art in Indonesia. This new book shows hundreds of photographs from the four major areas where this form of art can be found in West Papua: the Berau Gulf, Bitsyari Bay, Triton Bay and the Baliem Valley. It includes pictures of hand stencils, matutuo, faces and abstract motifs. Additionally, it presents recent discoveries of rock art from East Timor.
