This brochure, published by UNESCO’s Office in Apia, Samoa, presents the requirements for efficient safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) such as partnerships, documentation and recognition as well as the importance of ICH for Sustainable Development and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
