UNESCO in action – Working together for Haiti
The brochure “UNESCO in action – Working together for Haiti” provides an overview of the programmes and projects UNESCO is conducting in Haiti in accordance with its competences, namely education, science, culture and communication.
Following the devastating earth quake that hit the country on 12 January 2010, UNESCO joined forces with national authorities and international partners to respond to the most urgent needs of the population.
The brochure summarizes UNESCO’s activities in Haiti in the context of three themes, namely territorial rebuilding, social rebuilding and institutional rebuilding.
