Coastal and Marine Resources and ‘60 Minutes to Convince’


In September 2005, UNESCO’s Bureau of Pubic Information launched a series of 60 seminars entitled ’60 Minutes to Convince’, organized as part of the events to mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Organization. Held at lunchtime on successive Tuesdays, the seminars evoked, week by week, 60 subjects at the heart of its action..


Among the weekly seminars, several related to coastal and marine resources, including those on ‘Observation and knowledge of oceans’ (20 December 2005) and ‘Small islands and coastal zones’ (11 April 2006).
