A World of Science

This quarterly journal provides information on the work of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in the field of natural sciences.

Between 2002 and 2011, A World of Science was distributed four times a year in several languages to readers in 192 countries, before becoming a purely online journal in 2012. The newsletter was disseminated to all governments and parliaments and to numerous scientific bodies, intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, youth groups, universities and schools, many of which subscribed to the free print edition.

All the issues produced in Arabic (2008-2010), English (2002- ), French (2002-2012), Malay (2007-2008), Russian (2006-2011) and Spanish (2006-2012) are open access and may be consulted freely online, including the current issue in English.

Throughout 2013, individuals may still register for a free e-subscription to the English online edition. To receive an e-mail alert every three months when the journal appears, simply enter your e-mail address in the box you will find in the right-hand column of this page.
