A brief history of the World Science Forum

In November 2009, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences organized the fourth World Science Forum in Budapest, in partnership with UNESCO and the European Commission. The theme of the Forum was a 10-year review of follow-up to the World Conference on Science, which had been organized by UNESCO and the International Council for Science (ICSU) in Budapest in 1999.
