Tomorrow’s Davos of Science?

The success of the World Science Fora organized so far proves that the original intention – that of providing a forum where scientists, polticians, decision-makers and representatives of civil society could debate burning issues – is becoming a reality. Co-organized by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, UNESCO and ICSU, the World Science Forum is the largest event on the global science policy calendar today and it is gradually earning recognition as the “Davos of Science” worldwide. In 2013, it will be held outside Europe for the first time, in Brazil.
