High-level round table discusses ways of strengthening research and higher education

28 May - Ministers and other high-level officials with responsibilities for science and higher education met in Tirana (Albania) on 21 and 22 May to discuss ways of enhancing pan-European co-operation to enhance the competitiveness of Southeast European countries in the European and international research arenas. The high-level round table and expert meeting were organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Albania with the support of UNESCO’s Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe. The meeting was attended by representatives of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia.
