Reform of the Science, Technology and Innovation System in Tanzania within the Framework of the One UN Programme

On 15 March 2011, UNESCO's Division for Science Policy and Sustainable Development and UNESCO’s office in Dar-es-Salaam presented the United Nations’ Delivery as One process in Tanzania at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The Minister of Communication, Science and Technology of Tanzania led the delegation of Tanzanian officials who attended the meeting.

The seminar presented the One UN programme in Tanzania, one of the eight pilot countries for the United Nation’s Delivering as One” initiative. Within this framework, there is an ongoing project involving UNESCO for the reform of the country’s science, technology and innovation system.
