World Water Congress and Exhibition – Montréal, 19–24 September 2010
The 2010 International Water Association (IWA) World Water Congress and Exhibition will take place in Montréal, Canada, from the 19th to the 24th of September.
The event aims to provide direction and solutions to challenges faced by water professionals worldwide. More than 4,500 water professionals from around the world are expected to participate to exchange ideas and debate the key issues underlying the science and practice of water.
During the Congress Olcay Unver, the World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP) Coordinator, will speak about the fourth edition of the World Water Development Report at the session "Water allocation and sharing in national and transboundary systems", scheduled for Tuesday 21st.
Additionally, William Cosgrove, Project Manager of WWAP World Water Scenarios Project, is a key note speaker and will provide a presentation on "Cities of the Future in (today's) Developing Countries".
