Global Innovation Forum taking place in Daejeon
For the first time, the Korean city of Daejeon is hosting a Global Innovation Forum from 11 to 14 November 2014. The forum is being organized by the World Technopolis Assocation (WTA), UNESCO and Daejeon Metropolitan City (Republic of Korea, in cooperation with the INNOBIZ Association.
The main objective of the forum is to promote a culture of innovation, technopreneurship and the transfer of knowledge and technology, in the interests of global economic development.
The forum will connect research professionals, policy-makers, players in the hi-tech productive sector and civil society from around the globe. It should foster the sharing of innovative ideas, knowledge and experience for mutual benefit and create a fertile ground for exploring prospects for interagency and international cooperation in innovation.
It is planned to hold a Global Innovation Forum in Daejeon every second year from now on.
