Microsciences Kit Training: Opening of the University Academic Year in Côte d'Ivoire

UNESCO participated in the celebration of the re-opening of the University Academic Year 2012-2013 in Cote-d'Ivoire on 30 August - 6 September 2012. Teachers and students were trained by Ms Amelle Korichi to use Microscience kits to conduct experimentations when learning about the basic sciences through a UNESCO training workshop. This event was presided by the President and the Prime Minister of Cote-d'Ivoire.

The Global Microscience Experiment Project is a hands-on science education initiative that gives primary and secondary school students (in some cases university students as well) the opportunity to conduct practical work in physics, chemistry and biology, using kits that come with booklets describing possible scientific experiments.
