The Eleventh Annual Press Freedom Report for South Asia launched
Every year the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) produces, with UNESCO’s support, the Press Freedom Report for South Asia. Launched annually on World Press Freedom Day (May 3), the report monitors and reviews developments in the South Asian region that have a bearing on press freedom and quality journalism. The latest report is titled ‘Building Resistance, Organising for Change: Press Freedom in South Asia 2012–13’. It was launched in New Delhi on World Press Freedom Day 2013.
