Photo and Essay Competition: Why is water important?

21 May 2014 - UNESCO, in collaboration with Canon, Through Waters and the Royal University of Fine Arts (RUFA), is organizing a competition, on the topic of Why is water important? This competition will start from 16th May to end on 8th June 2014.

The competition is divided into two categories:

  1. Photo category: Each participant can submit one photo only. The photo must be taken in Cambodia and relevant to the competition theme.  
  2. Essay category: Each participant can submit one essay in Khmer or English only. Up to 200 words and relevant to the theme.

10 winners will be selected by a jury panel with members from i-Qlick, Through Waters, UNESCO and RUFA. The award ceremony will take place on 13th of June at the CJCC IFL. The following are some of the prizes!:

  • Camera Powershot D30 Underwater Camera
  • Print out of your winning picture (A3 size) printed with Canon PIXMA PRO 100
  • Print out of your winning essay (A3 size) printed on Fine Art Paper with Canon PIXMA PRO 100
  • 3 movie tickets (Platinum Cineplex)
  • 1 PIXMA Mug
  • Your winning photo or essay will be exhibited at i-Qlick showroom
  • Canon Imaging Academy- 50$ voucher on any CIA course
  • Q-Studio -50$ voucher on any Q-Studio services
