Seminar on Tangible and Intangible Heritage in Cambodia and Southeast Asia

@UNESCO/Chanthul Suos - Seminar on Tangible and Intangible Heritage in Cambodia and Southeast Asia

The UNESCO Phnom Penh Office and the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in collaboration with the Albert Le Bonheur Siphar Foundation, will organize a Seminar on “Tangible and Intangible Heritage in Cambodia and Southeast Asia”.

Eight researchers, professors, specialists and representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Fine arts will be invited as key speakers to share their views about Cambodia’s heritage and its conservation. They will bring to the Seminar a broad knowledge with regards to tangible and intangible heritage in Cambodia and in Southeast Asia such as recent history, matriarchy in Khmer society, indigenous people languages, the living human treasures system, Buddhist manuscripts and other topics of interest.

This is therefore a great opportunity to disseminate and share the Cambodian and Southeast Asia culture aspects among Cambodian senators, ambassadors and governmental members.
