UNESCO and Juventus unite again in the fight against racism. Everybody can join by posting a photo in support of equality on Juventus’ social media channels with the hashtags #UNESCOJuventus and #WhatColour.

With the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on Monday 21 March, UNESCO and Juventus call on fans to join with the team and fight all forms of racism.

This effort to mark the international day showcases players of the football club with their T-Shirts asking the simple questions, Colour? What Colour?, which is the title of the UNESCO report on the fight against discrimination and racism in football released last year and made possible with the support of the Juventus Football Club.

Supporters are invited to show their solidarity by posting a photo in support of equality on Juventus’ official Facebook and Twitter pages, using the hashtags #UNESCOJuventus and #WhatColour.

As UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova pointed out in her forward for the report, “sport provides a unique platform to promote the values of intercultural dialogue and understanding, to deepen social inclusion and to promote gender equality.”

The Report provides an inventory of legislations, stakeholders and initiatives that fight racism in football and makes innovative recommendations for future action in this area.
