On Saturday 22 April 2017, at 18:00, at the Grand hall of the State Conservatory, Czech sax player and composer Michal Wróblewski will return to this Tashkent stage for his second performance within the International Jazz Festival in Uzbekistan – this year with Uzbekistan’s own Jazzirama, in a programme of Michal Wróblewski’s original compositions, arrangements of Uzbek melodies by Jazzirama as well as jazz standards.

Michal Wróblewski has completed his studies at the Leoš Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno and is currently working towards his Masters at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. He is the founder of several bands and projects – the Mocca Malacco quintet, E Converso, quintet Swomp, trio KIAP etc. In 2013, Michal was selected for the EBU Jazz Orchestra led by distinguished Swedish composer Ann-Sofi Söderqvist. He has been affiliated with The Big Band of Czech Radio, Bran band (CD Le Carnet noir 2012), Císařband (Just blues 2012) etc.
