Join World Contraception Day 2012 Online Campaign!

World Contraception Day (WCD)is a worldwide campaign taking place on 26th September each year. It was initiatedin 2007 by a number of organizations sharing the idea thatevery pregnancy should be wanted.

World Contraception Day (WCD)is a worldwide campaign taking place on 26th September each year. It was initiatedin 2007 by a number of organizations sharing the idea thatevery pregnancy should be wanted. The campaign aims at raising young people’s awareness about reproductive health and contraception to enable them make informed decisions.

<a href="http://dance4life.focus-media.ru/">dance4life project (Russia)</a> and <a href="http://prevention.focus-media.ru/">“Prevention ONLINE” project</a> in collaboration with the <a href="http://www.unesco.org/new/en/moscow/home/">UNESCO Moscow Office</a> and <a href="http://unaids.ru/">UNAIDS Regional Office for Eastern Europe</a> and Central Asia kindly invite young people to participate in an online campaigndedicated to WCD 2012. The campaign is run under the slogan <a href="http://dance4life.focus-media.ru/wcd_2012/wcd_2012_plan/">“I do have reproductive rights, but I do not know  them"</a>

Within this campaign:
1) A photo exhibition “Youth talks about reproductive rights” will be launched in 22 regions of Russia.
2) 5 infographic posters about reproductive health of girls and boys, contraception, prevention of sexually transmitted infections and HIV are available for young people who can share them with friends and adults to inform them about these issues.
3) In dance4lifevideo blog “If you are the only activist in a village”, teenagers will learn what they personally can do to protect their loved ones.

Several popular youth groups in social media (“Vkontakte”) have kindly agreed to post campaign materials – posters and photos.
