In response to the pressing global challenges of our time, where interlinked planetary crises call for effective collaboration and solidarity in solution, the UNESCO Liaison Office to the United Nations (UN) in New York is dedicated to forging strong connections between UNESCO's Headquarters in Paris and the UN' decision-making center.

The Office leverages UNESCO's expertise, strategic insights, and analysis to promote the Organization's priorities and engagement with UN Member States, UN System, including specialized agencies, funds and programs, as well as civil society organizations based in New York. With a commitment to staying at the forefront of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Secretary-General’s Our Common Agenda, the office works to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information that is crucial for addressing the complex challenges facing our world.
