Tairiku Teshima

Tairiku Teshima is the son of the Japanese artist Yuhkei Teshima who helped establish calligraphy "shôsho" - "a limited number of characters calligraphy" - as one of the new components of the international contemporary art.

In September 2009, Tairiku Teshima received the Princess Takamado Price, awarded to artists that promote exchange and dialogue between cultures by calligraphy.
