Training of journalists on editorial, programming, monitoring and gender
UNESCO is Supporting Mugambo Jwetu to carry out a capacity building training for community radio journalists on editorial, programming, monitoring and gender. The training will not only equip the journalists with knowledge and skills on producing impact programmes on editorial, programming and monitoring including radio formats and gender, but also enable them to share knowledge and define common strategies on how to increase the social impact of the radio programmes key thematic areas of agriculture, health and civic education.
This activity is part of UNESCO’s on-going capacity building initiative funded by SIDA in its project “Empowering Local Radio with ICTs" in the region.
