CI Public lecture: Forging an Agenda for Knowledge-Driven Media Development

To take forward the potential of Knowledge-Driven Media Development as a new Special Initiative of the International Programme for the Development of Communication (IPDC), and as a concept which aims to improve understanding of the conditions required for successful media development support, a public lecture is brought to you by the Communication and Information Sector in cooperation with the Permanent Delegation of Germany to UNESCO and Deutsche Welle.
This public lecture features high-profile speakers:
- Ms Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO
- Mr Günter Nooke, Personal Representative of the German Chancellor for Africa at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)
- Mr Peter Limbourg, newly appointed Director-General of Deutsche Welle.
