Sixth Meeting of the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict
The Committee is composed of twelve States Parties to the Second Protocol to the Hague Convention of 1954 for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict. It shall meet once a year in ordinary session.
The main purposes of this meeting are the:
• consideration of requests for the granting of enhanced protection;
• examination of the Report on the obligation of the Parties to implement Chapter 4 of the Second Protocol;
• consideration of a proposal concerning the creation of a database; and,
• consideration of amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Committee.
