Beijing 2020 : towards a new global pact between people and nature? (information meeting)

This information meeting on the 15th Conference of the Parties of the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 15 / Beijing 2020), co-organized with Expertise France, will include a round table of high level experts.
A high-level panel will discuss potential avenues for work by 2020:
• Bertrand Bonhomme,
Director of Sustainable Development of the MICHELIN Group,
• Pascal Canfin,
CEO of WWF France,
• Gilles Kleitz,
Director of Natural Ecological Transition and Natural Resources Management, Agence Française de développement (AFD),
• Laurence Tubiana,
Director of the European Climate Foundation.

The round table will be introduced by Xing Qu, Deputy Director General of UNESCO and Jérémie Pellet, Director General of Expertise France.

The conclusions and perspectives will be presented by Stefan Leiner, Head of the Biodiversity Unit of DG Environment at the European Commission and Yann Wehrling, Deputy French Ambassador for the Environment.

Moderation will be ensured by Didier Babin, Post 2020 Biodiversity Framework Project Leader - EU Support, Expertise France.
