SDG 4 Data + Policy: Tools to help your country monitor and achieve the global education goal

Together with high-level country representatives, the UNESCO Institute for Statistics and the Global Education Monitoring Report will present new data and policymaking tools to help countries monitor and achieve the global education goal.
At this event, the UIS will launch the new edition of its flagship publication, the SDG 4 Data Digest.

This year’s report presents the latest methodological developments in the global and thematic indicators while helping countries produce the national data needed for monitoring and policymaking purposes. While shedding light on ways to improve the availability of data, the Digest also highlights regional initiatives to monitor progress towards SDG 4.

In addition, the Global Education Monitoring Report will present its work on inclusive education profiles, part of a new online tool offering comparative qualitative data to be launched in March 2020.

Discussions will then focus on the experience of countries in producing and using education data to deliver a quality education for all.
