World Social Science Report 2010
The Flagship Report, produced by the International Social Science Council (ISSC), co-published with UNESCO, illustrates the huge disparities in research capacities across countries and the fragmentation of knowledge that hamper the capacity of the social sciences to respond to the global challenges. This requires major effort to build social sciences capacities and promote integrated research.
The mini-conference will be animated by Pilar Álvarez-Laso, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences, and Françoise Caillods, Senior Managing Editor of the Report, ISSC.
