This film, the first of its kind, offers a better comprehension of the concept of the world's UNESCO Biosphere Reserves through Biosphere Reserves of three different continents. As the concept foresaw it, these are ordinary people, responsible of extraordinary initiatives, in Reserves that guide us through the understanding of the essence of the world biosphere reserves.
The documentary "Biosphere, Tomorrow is Now" was produced by BIOSPHERE TELEVISION in association with UNESCO. The 48-minute film will be officially launched on 3 November in Paris during a special event as part of the UNESCO 40th anniversary of MAB (Man and the Biosphere). BIOSPHERE TELEVISION toured Africa, Brazil, Mexico, the United States and Canada, through 7 UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves to be used for the production of this international documentary. The film will go on sale next spring in Cannes and will then be available to television stations around the world.
