Le Congress will analyze the impact of social, economic, political, technological and educational journalism and its professional identity. The technological revolution, the growth of educational and sharp swings cultural, economic and political society as a whole, have brought many changes, which have transformed the communication field and thereby of journalism as a profession. This is an academic event of great importance that, for the first time in Chile, will gather researchers from different countries to raise awareness and share the various initiatives in Journalism Studies. Conferences will be given by international experts, such as David Weaver, Silvio Waisbord, Thomas Hanitzsch and Jay Blumler.
