The main purpose of the meeting is to review the progress achieved by the Memory of the World Programme and make recommendations to the Director-General concerning the inscription of documentary heritage on the Memory of the World Register, the award of the UNESCO/Jikji Memory of the World Prize as well as promoting the Programme.
