A sub-regional workshop for the Preparation of Nomination Dossier for World Heritage Inscription and the Development of Management Plan will be organised by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia and UNESCO.
The workshop will gather focal points from each country in South-East Asia, international resource persons, representatives from UNESCO’s Advisory Bodies and staff from the World Heritage Centre as well as UNESCO Field Offices in the region.

The objectives of the workshop are (1) to increase participants knowledge and understanding of the nomination process on Tentative Lists for the inscription of properties on the World Heritage list; (2) to provide guidance to the State Parties on development of effective management plan or other documented management system which specify how the outstanding universal value of the nominated property should be preserved; (3) to promote regional cooperation mechanism through the exchange of information and experiences in the implementation of the World Heritage Convention
