« Representative democracy became the preferred political regime, almost in all regions the world, well beyond Western Europe and North America, where it was invented. Nowadays, however, it is in difficulty, even in Western countries. Indeed, the financial crisis which started in 2007, became also an economic , social and political crisis. It weakens well established democratic regimes, especially in Europe. More recent democracies, and the one which are emerging have their own, specific problems.”
You are all most cordially invited.
