Global Education and Skills Forum
The Global Education and Skills Forum addresses the global priority to put education first. It aims to strengthen the ties between the public and private sector in the field of education, and also increase the involvement of the private sector in education.
The Forum is the result of the strategic partnership between UNESCO, the UAE Ministry of Education and GEMS Education, and is organized in support of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Global Education First Initiative (GEFI).
Education, Employment and Equity are often looked at in isolation from each other. The Global Education and Skills Forum will test this conventional wisdom by examining the transformative impact expanded educational opportunities can have on social and economic development.
The Forum will bring together Heads of Government, Ministers, NGO leaders, youth groups, Board Chairs and Chief Executives of businesses and multi-lateral agencies and industry leaders to learn about innovative approaches, share stories of success, and learn how to scale solutions that show signs of success.
