Musical evening in the framework of the celebrations of the International Women’s Day 2011
In the framework of the Celebrations of the International Women's Day 2011, musical evening with Kareyce Fotso and Geta Burlacu.
Kareyce Fotso is a singer from Cameroun. After successful studies in bio-chemistry and audiovisual arts, she began her singing career in cabarets and in bands (“Korongo Jam”). In France, she worked under the artistic direction of Francis Kokelaere, and performed her first solo show with him. Accompanied by a guitar, Kareyce Fotso sings rhythm and blues as well as African traditional songs.
Geta Burlacu is a Moldovan jazz singer, who also interprets traditional music and rock. She studied to become a violinist and a jazz singer, and has performed solo and with the bands "Univox Vocal Band", "Acid Grape" and "Right Horns". Geta Burlacu represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song A Century of Love.
