"Festival déchaîné" Poster

For its first edition, the "Festival déchaîné" aims to highlight the cultures of the Black Diaspora from Africa and the Americas, focusing on aspects still unknown.

Through documentaries, films, concerts, dancing, photos and discussions, this festival is an event that takes you to discover the situation of blacks in Tunisia, the life of Afro-Peruvian musicians or yet what it means to be Black in France today.

From a new dialogue with Senegalese kora malambo and Argentine dance to the sounds of gospel and Afro-Peruvian rhythms, come and join the "Festival déchaîné".

This event is held at the Cultural Center La Clef, art room located at 21, Rue de la Clef in the 5th arrondissement of Paris.

The "Festival déchaîné" benefits for this first edition from the Support of the UNESCO Slave Route Project and opens with a screening of the documentary" Slave Routes: A global vision", on June 3rd 2010 at 6:30 p.m.
