National Forum “The Fear to Dissent in the Practice of Journalism”

Participants celebrate the World Press Freedom Day.

Organized in the framework of the World Press Freedom Day celebration this national forum is oriented to discuss with specialists, journalists and media professionals the main issues concerning Freedom of Information and Access to Information and knowledge in Mexico.
This event aims to raise awareness among civil society organizations, governments, media and general public on the importance of fostering the free flow of information, to promote freedom of expression as a universal human right, and to facilitate development of best practices on access to information.
