Alexia Vassiliou

Alexia Vassiliou, the Cypriot singer and composer, has recorded more than 20 albums, in Greece, in the United States of America but also in other European countries, which several of them were awarded a Gold or Platinum disc.
A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston (1985), she played in jazz and jazz fusion bands in New York for several years. However, she has always kept close ties with the Old Continent and has had a great deal of success in Greece and Cyprus.
She embarked on a solo career in the late 1980s and performed with a variety of artistes, including Mikis Theodorakis, Kostas Kapnisis, Chick Corea, John Patitucci, Gary Novak and Gayle Moran. She has written and composed her latest opus Re-bE. She will be in concert in May in Paris, Berlin, Munich, New York, Los Angeles, Greece and Cyprus.
