Annual Conference of the Foundation for Endangered Languages: "Endangered Languages: Their Voices and Images"

The Conference "Endangered Languages: Their Voices and Imanges" includes academic activities such as lectures, presentations and roundtables on endangered languages.
The Conference will be focused on the following themes:

- Linguistic and sociolinguistic characteristics of endangered languages;
- Endangered languages: rights, identities and new technologies;
- Media cultures and endangered languages;
- Documentation and endangered languages: successful experiences.

It will launch the World Atlas of Endangered Languages, edited by UNESCO, in its Spanish version, with the general editor of the Atlas, Christopher Moseley.

It will end with a visit to the city of Otavalo, resort and indigenous craft production.
