Presentation of the United Nations University to the French-speaking Academic Community

Jointly organized by the United Nations University Office in Paris and the French National Commission for UNESCO, the purpose of this Colloquium is to raise the awareness of the French-speaking universities about the existence of the United Nations University (UNU), the academic arm of the UN system, which forms a highly effective academic network.
After the official opening of the Colloquium, there will be a presentation of four Institutes: UNU Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (The Netherlands); UNU Institute for Environment and Human Security (Germany); UNU Institute for Natural Resources in Africa (Ghana); and UNU International Institute for Software Technology (China). This will be followed by a roundtable with the participation of personalities from the French academic community and other Directors of UNU Institutes.
