Premier of the film, "United we stand, divided the forests fall" launching the Code REDD Campaign

“United we stand, divided the forests fall” is a film that tells the story of the global problem that is deforestation and the new solution that is Code REDD. The goal of the film is to engage, inspire and educate audiences through an emotional and impactful multimedia experience.
Code REDD is an emergency action campaign designed to save the threatened forests of the world. REDD means:(Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation. The Campaign is being launched during Rio+20 to generate international awareness and to encourage public and corporate support to help stop deforestation. Biosphere Reserves are a network of the most spectacular natural places on earth, despite the UNESCO designation, some of these sites are threatened by destructive economic forces, and as such are ideal sites for the implementation of Code REDD projects.

The Code REDD Campaign will be launched in the heart of Rio’s Lapa neighbourhood, at the Arcos da Lapa aqueduct. This historical monuments, is also a lively cultural area where Brazilian artists, tourists, and intellectuals alike meet to exchange ideas and stories.
