European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC)

Organized by the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC), with the support of UNESCO, the Venice School for Human Rights will offer its participants the opportunity to debate on human rights issues and current challenges in this field, facilitate the exchange of experiences and enhance intercultural dialogue.

The courses will be taught by internationally recognized experts in the field of human rights and will take place for 10 days at the premises of the EIUC in Venice.

These courses are for postgraduate students from all academic backgrounds, students from different regional masters in human rights and democratisation, European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation (E.MA) alumni, and human rights practitioners willing to deepen and improve their knowledge in human rights issues.

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the school providing that they attend at least 90% of the classes.

Participants will benefit from the extremely rich cultural environment of Venice, including visits to museums, galleries, churches and the Venice Biennale.
