“Science, Technology and Citizenship: Challenges for Society” Workshop

This workshop organized by UNESCO and the European Union will discuss the themes of "Science education and citizen training" and "Governance and the role of science and technology in society", aiming to prepare a document to the 4th National Conference on Science and Technology.
The morning will be devoted to the theme "The Science Education and the Citizen Training", and the afternoon to "Governance and the Role of Science and Technology in Society".
The workshop will draw together a small group of officials and experts on the proposed topics. This event aims at preparing a document to provide subsidy to the debates during the 4th National Conference on Science and Technology that will be held in May 2010.
