Science and Engineering Fair in Nigeria
Chemistry : all about you
UNESCO in collaboration with the University of Nigeria and the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) will organize a scientific education and Engineering week at the International Institute of Biotechnology (University of Nigeria, Nsukka) from 17 to 21 June 2013.
During the whole week, this Category 2 Centre of UNESCO will host a series of training, workshops and exhibitions. Several experts from all regions of the world will present scientific conferences in high technology and especially in m-Learning. Many partners will also attend this important event: Microsoft, Intel, Nokia and Engineers Without Borders (EWB).
Four main workshops sessions will focus on:
- Scientific m-Learning;
- Global Microscience Experiments;
- Global Water Experiment;
- Engineers Without Borders Outreach Training.
In addition to these workshops, two exhibitions will take place during this week:
- One on the topic of “Water” in collaboration with “Deyrolles pour l’avenir” and in the framework of the International Year of Water Cooperation.
- The other on ”Engineering” will be organized and supervised by young volunteers from the Engineers Without Borders (EWB).
