The festival is celebrating it's 40 anniversary this year, while the Ocean Forum, organized in parallel by the World Ocean Network, is in its 10th edition. The Ocean Forum seeks to provide solutions for the sustainable development of a society closely linked to the ocean, "Blue society."
The event, which lasts five days, is opened to the public. It includes film screenings, slideshows in competitions, photo exhibitions, conférences, games and exhibition.

UNESCO's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission is proud to support and participate in these events.
